Who are we?
We’re ROK Agency – a tiny design studio with big ideas. Based in Gothenburg, but with roots in Iceland. The name ROK means “wind” in Icelandic, which felt right: invisible, but powerful, and constantly shaping things around us (pretty much what design is supposed to do). Also, let’s be honest – both Gothenburg and Iceland are ridiculously windy, so it felt like destiny.
How we work
We work with branding, web, and media. Sometimes it’s just us, sometimes we bring in our trusted network of freelancers when a project needs more hands (or brains). Think of it as a “small studio with an expandable team” – you get the personal, flexible approach of a small agency, but the reach of a bigger one.
Our philosophy
We keep things simple. No buzzword bingo, no smoke and mirrors, no pretending to reinvent the wheel. We’re transparent, straightforward, and we believe good design should actually work – not just look trendy for two weeks before it feels outdated.
